Choosing the correct RV is critical if you are going to get the most out of your holiday. Too small and the experience will be cramped and claustrophobic, too large means additional cost and less manoeuvrability.

• CT22 Motorhome - This is ideal for 2 adults, but we think it is cramped for any more than one child.
• C25 Motorhome - This is fine for 2 adults and 2 children, but we think it is cramped with a third child.
• C30 Motorhome - This is ideal for 2 adults and 3 older children or 5 adults.
• FM-28 Motorhome - This is a fairly specialist vehicle - sleeps 4 reasonably comfortably but has the added versatility of a huge storage compartment for bikes, motor bikes etc.

On balance our view is that internal space is more important than manoeuvrability. You soon get used to driving a large vehicle. Driving a 25 ft vehicle (C25 motor home) is really very little different to driving and manoeuvring a 30 ft vehicle (C30 motor home).
